Established in 1982, Good Shepherd Center (GSC) has provided high quality early childhood education for children in the Iowa City/Coralville area for over 23 years. We are located on Greenwood Avenue, next to Roosevelt Elementary.

GSC serves approximately 60 families in our core programs, as well as providing after school care and summer programs. We care for and educate children ages 2 weeks to 7 years of age. In addition, we serve as the setting for one of Iowa City Community School's Special Needs Classrooms, which allows for seamless mainstreaming of many of their students into our classes.

As a daycare licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services, we also offer deferred tuition for children in need of special placements. All children are welcome regardless of race, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
